If you live out of town or simply cannot attend the May 8 auction event, never fear: We have a way for you to bid on the window art! E-mail the following information to windowsonmaininfo@gmail.com by midnight (eastern U.S. time) May 7th:
- Your Name (first and last)
- The number and title of the piece your bidding for (as it is listed here in the gallery)
- Your maximum bid (all bids open at $200 and increase by $20 increments)
- Your credit card number and expiration date
- Your phone number (with area code)
The procedure on May 8th:
Your bid info will be assigned to a staff member who will bid in your place, incrementally, up to your maximum bid (don't worry; we won't go to the maximum right away!). If you win, we will charge your card that night and you will become the proud owner of a beautiful piece of original artwork. Please note: If your credit card is rejected, we will have to go to the next-highest bidder.
Some fine print: We cannot deliver the artwork to you. If it needs to be shipped, we will contact you for details after you've purchased the artwork. Also, we will not keep your payment records on file or sell your info to anyone.
